Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Perminator, including the website at perminator.xyz, the web dashboard, and the Perminator Discord application (together, the “Service”). By signing in, inviting the bot, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Perminator is operated by the Perminator team (“we”, “us”). The Service helps Discord server owners and administrators define granular permission rules, sync Discord roles, channels, and members, and review an audit log of allowed and denied actions. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.

Contact: hello@perminator.xyz.

2. Discord’s terms still apply

The Service uses Discord’s APIs and runs as a Discord application. You must also comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and, if you develop against Discord, the Discord Developer Terms and Developer Policy. If Discord terminates your access, our Service may stop working for you.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by Discord and your local law, whichever is higher.
  • You sign in with Discord OAuth. We do not ask for your Discord password.
  • You are responsible for activity under your signed-in session and for only connecting servers you are authorized to manage.
  • You may only use the Service on guilds where you are the owner or have Discord’s Manage Server / Administrator permission.

4. The bot and what it can do

When you invite the Perminator bot, you grant it Discord permissions needed to provide the Service, including Manage Roles, Manage Channels, Kick Members, Timeout Members, and View Audit Log. You can remove the bot from a server at any time in Discord’s server settings.

Actions you take in the dashboard (renaming channels, reordering channels, editing members, and similar management tasks) are sent to Discord through the bot. Discord may reject an action if the bot lacks permission or if Discord’s own hierarchy rules apply.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or unlawfully target anyone, or to violate Discord’s rules.
  • Attempt to access another user’s account, another server you do not manage, or our systems without authorization.
  • Interfere with or overload the Service, scrape it except as allowed by law, or reverse engineer it except where that right cannot be waived.
  • Use the Service to collect Discord user data for advertising, sale, or any purpose other than managing the servers you connect.
  • Misrepresent the Service as an official Discord product.

6. Plans, billing, and refunds

Perminator offers a Free plan and paid plans (including Pro). Current prices and limits are described on the Pricing page and may change with notice on that page. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Taxes may apply.

Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, paid fees are non-refundable. You can cancel a subscription from the dashboard billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

7. Your content and server data

You retain rights in your Discord server configuration. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to operate the Service (sync, display, enforce, and audit), as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the authority to connect each server you add.

8. Availability and changes

We provide the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features depend on Discord’s API remaining available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, including free-plan limits. We may update these Terms; the “Effective” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out, kicking the bot, and deleting your account from Account Settings — no email is required. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by Discord or law, or if we shut down the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (including 5, 7, 10, and 11) survive termination.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that permission rules will catch every Discord action or that Discord will accept every dashboard change.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) twenty-five US dollars (US $25). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EEA, United Kingdom, or another place with mandatory consumer protections, those protections still apply. Informal resolution first: email hello@perminator.xyz and allow 30 days to try to resolve a dispute before filing a claim, where that process is allowed.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms: hello@perminator.xyz. Privacy requests are described in the Privacy Policy.
